Hi! I'm Brandi. I just relocated from Kentucky to Dublin, and this blog is a very basic record of my not-so-exciting adventures. I'm trying to overcome my workaholic tendencies and enjoy Ireland while I'm here!
I earned my master's in English Literature from the University of Kentucky in 2012, writing my thesis about memory and narrative in contemporary Irish crime fiction, and this past September, I started my PhD in Irish literature at University College Dublin.
In my free time, I enjoy baking (and all things food-related, to be honest), long aimless walks to get my bearings in Dublin, and of course, reading like my life depends on it. Which it basically does.
